Boots do the 400mg of folic acid tablets, anything higher than that is by prescription but you would only need higher than that if you have a high risk pregnancy i.e other health problems as well. This is what the pharmacist told me x

I have had an ectopic and I didn't really have any symptoms apart from Hcg levels not doubling like they should and some bleeding. I believe the shoulder pain etc comes a lot later than 5 weeks. A lot of what your describing can just be normal pregnancy symptoms but it's best to get checked out...
