My LO is George - I think (obviously) that it's a good strong name for a boy, nice and traditional. I wouldnt worry about others with the same name - especially fictional characters - as the other shave said you will always find some association you dont like with any name!

I swaddled LO but left his arms out - he couldnt stand to have his arms contained.

Have you tried swaddling her? Also does she get wind? My LO got awful wind for the first couple of weeks - he would only fall asleep upright on my chest and then I could put him down. If its wind try proping up the head end of her moses basket with books so her head is higher and wind can move...

You could also try the "rugby ball hold" for LO when on you left - basically his body is curled around your side with your left arm over the top and then cupped under his head - means he is still lying on the same side even though its the other boob - may help. I'm only just ready to do it now because I need help to attend courses to get more qualifications. She's lovely (if pretty full on and too much for me at times) but I just feel more comfortable with my own mum having LO as I think MIL fusses and worries so much that I'm not sure she would manage...

It's 3 jabs. My LO was fine that day but pretty out of sorts the next day - screamed when I tried to give him anything to eat and generally whingy (not teething i hasten to add) but then after a good nights sleep he was ok.

There is normally a growth spurt around 10 days and they will constantly suckle to increase the supply of milk. I know its super draining on your energy, My Lo is 14months now and I still remember those first few weeks where it was up and down a lot. Make sure you're drinking lots of water...

Check with the airline about whether you can have both bags - tbh if you can stick to just the changing bag it will make your life easier.
