Just a quickie..
Ollie is constantly trying to stand up when i sit him on my knee (i probably havent helped matters by lifting him up in the air..he loves it!) A friend said to me that bouncing them even gently at that age can damage their legs as their ligaments arent formed. I keep telling...
The material you used for mine was lovely.. Im still waiting for Ollie to be able to spead his legs as he just wont stop trying to stand up in it! I'm eager to get out with it!!
I always wake Ollie at 7am and he has 3 hourly feeds finishing at 11pm. If i stick to this he sleeps through (most of the time.. may wake just the once) He tends to have a small nap in the morning (about 40 mins) and then a long nap in the afternoon. I have today realised that if he doesnt have...
Me again!
I have a wedding next week and my OH's sister in law was going to look after ollie overnight. Well.. it looks like they are gettin a puppy this friday (a staff). They already have a staff but hes old and im not too worried about him.
Do you think i should just take ollie to the...
Hi All,
Is it just me or does anyone else out there get really embarrassed when their baby screams?? I go to a postnatel group every wednesday afternoon and Ollie is a nightmare! All the other babies are quietly sleeping and Ollie is screaming blue murder. It got so bad today the HV offered to...
Ollie took a good week to get over his jabs.. we have the next set tomorrow.. im dreading it.
Im never happy about giving calpol (dunno why) so not sure if you should or not. I gave him a spoonful when we got back but that was it.
Will take note as to what advice you get on here,

Well i tried the gina ford routine but gave up as it just wasnt for us. The only thing i did take out of it though is to start the day at around 7am. If we do this Ollie has the amount if feeds he requires before 11pm (he is on bed before this though) We have only just dropped the nightfeed...
Hiya hun,
Glad you made an appointment to put your mind at rest. Googling is a nightmare.. i made that mistake when i got pregnant with ollie (pregnancy with crohns wasnt very positive).
Excellent news that you are officially a non smoker now.. keep it up!!

Got mine booked!!
Im not bothered about having it done.. its the waiting for the results i hate. I had mild inflammation before so had to go for a colposcopy.. turned out it was just the HPV virus. If only they had had the vaccine in my day!!
I cant believe they still havent lowered the age...
Emergency C Section for me.. Ollie passed mechonium, 20 hours of labour having been induced, only got to 4cm so went to theatre.. was suppose to have been a water birth!!
So many people i know have had sections..these babies dont seem to know their way out!
Ollie is dribbling loads too. I dont have a problem with gums so am just rubbing dentinox on. You could get one of those teething dummys and put the gel on them and then get Isla to chew it (ollie cant keep them in his mouth though)

Hiya hun,
If i were you i would get as much support as you can from breastfeeding counsellers and if you are still having lots of problems THEN stop. I only say that as i had such problems coming to terms with my decision.
Whatever you decide hun you will get tons of support on here.

I always worry about what will happen if my crohns flares up and how will i look after Ollie etc.. i think thats pretty normal though. The Jade Goody thing effected me abit aswell..I think its a natural mum feeling.
If it continues Julia then speak to your doc to see if you can maybe talk to...
