thanks for the replies girls. On saturday I was told that my cervix was 1.5cm thick but getting there and I was just under 3cm dilated. How long did it take once they broke your water before baby arrived?

The leaflet I was given about tonights induction says that I will be given the gel pessary etc but Im just wondering if they will still do this if Im already dilating? Does anyone understand the ins and outs of inductions and which bit does what?

havent lost any more so not sure what it was earlier, it didnt look or smell like pee and my contractions have died off. Any ideas how I can bring them back

As youve probably seen on the other thread I posted my induction is today (10th) What a shame he failed the course but its another weight off your mind having him at home, although I dont envy you having to move so close to your due date

Got induction tomorrow evening, need to ring them at 6.30pm to see what time they will admit me. TBH Im dreading being admitted as I'll be on my own. They offered to admit me Saturday night but Ian and Mam wouldve had to leave about 15 mins afterwards as it was the end of visiting hours.
