Yep, she's speaking shit. I've always taken mine out a few days after they were born. When drake was born they let me go home the same day and was told by the midwifes to come back the next day for his proper checks!

My first was 6yrs 9m when my 2nd was born and my 2nd was 7yrs 3m when my 3rd was born ( 7yr itch people say :roll:) I wouldn't know what it was like having them close together but I do love the age gap, the older 2 help out loads with playing with lo when I have to cook etc.

My oldest was mummy's boy, my middle boy was mummy's and grampy's boy and Drake is half and half, little more me though i think.

Oooo i forgot, at aound you lo's age i bought a playnest, it was a godsend! Put a couple of toy s in and as he couldn't quite sit up yet he was well supported by the bouncy sides if he stumbled forward. He loved it! I recommend them to everyone!
