Life is so cruel :( - misoprostol and MVA advice on page 3

Are you having a molar pregnancy @Littleperson or have they not said? I hope it sorts out soon for you x
They haven’t said! (They thought my last one might have been molar and that’s why I had d&c and they scraped so much but afterwards they sent to the lab and turned out it wasn’t molar)

this time I think it’s just a blighted ovum empty sac situation that just won’t come out! Xxx

Awwww I’m sorry hun hope they can sort it for you xx

No bleeding at all so called the early pregnancy unit today and they’ve booked me in for the manual vacuum aspiration (mva) on Wednesday! Dreading it to be honest but just glad the end is in sight now!

Aww no not what you wanted, your body is really clinging on which is I suppose a good thing to know when you catch next time hun, will you be able to start trying straight away after that or do you have to wait a cycle or two? Xx

It did this last time though then I didn’t conceive for 16 months and now this! So not really putting much stock in the clinging!

they say wait til you’ve had a period but that’s just so it’s easier for dating purposes eh?! I think I won’t really track this month but won’t avoid sex either xxx

I’m sorry to hear that @Littleperson I have had MVA it was a couple of years before I got pregnant again after but I had a copper coil fitted after the procedure as we were due to get married etc so paused on ttc. I fell straight away when it was taken out so here’s hoping you will catch again soon. I’m so sorry that this has happened to you sending love xx

Thanks Angel! Half desperate to get pregnant straight away and half terrified if I do I’ll miscarry and be right back here again!!!

Aww sweet I can imagine you having those worries and I don't blame you at all, did you speak to doctor or any one to see if they can do anything to help with anything even if its just to put your mind at ease with the next pregnancy or give you anything to take before trying? I'm not familiar with things they can do after a few miscarriages in a row xx

I actually haven’t asked yet but I will!

not heard back from assisted conception since my HSG at the beginning of March either so will be phoning them as next month is our two years of trying to time to get us on the ivf wait list! Xxx

Today is vacuum day! Didn’t sleep a wink last night, I’m really nervous! Hopefully it will be quick and not too painful and hopefully my cycle falls into place properly!!!

They gave me some kind of anaesthetic in a cannula for mine. I was not asleep for the procedure but I cannot remember anything xxx

So that didn’t work! My uterus is both bicornuate (heart shaped) and tilted! The tools wouldn’t open the cervix enough for him to see which direction to go in without hurting me and that was with local anaesthetic. I’ve to go under general to get it done! They don’t have an exact time available for me so I’ve to go in at 7pm tonight and do an overnight and they’ll take me whenever there is time! Could be midnight, could be 8am tomorrow morning! Who knows!

I was an absolute nervous wreck, shaking like a leaf and bawling like a baby.

had to have w covid test done too so they know I’m safe for theatre when I go in! Had the suppositories up my butt too so literally the only hole in my body that’s not been invaded today is my ears lol!
What a bloody hellish ordeal!

The midwife (nicest woman ever) is referring me to the multiple miscarriage people even though I’ve only had 2 as apparently when you’re in your 30s two is all you need for them to help you! She said it could take a couple of months but that they’d do what they can to help my body keep a pregnancy in future!
