September - time to consider flu jabs!!!

When my son was at pre-school, one of the mums there had to go to a funeral of someone her own age (mid-twenties) who was pregnant and had passed away from swine flu, so I'm definitely going to get any jabs going. :eh:

My son gets up at 5am in the winter months and 6am in the summer, and has been doing so for 5 and a half years, so I am used to it!

    Thankful every day!

I fully sympathise with the symptoms. In my last pregnancy I had a list of 30 reasons not to do it again. I put it off for 5 years, but now doing it again! Yesterday I added another thing to my list. THRUSH. :-( Going to the doctors about it, and hoping they can give me something that...

    Can't feel baby yet

It is my first, and I was so shocked seeing the baby move vigorously on the scan, with me having zero awareness of it. So so odd. I agree! My baby is supposed to be over 4 and a half inches, not including legs, so how come I am oblivious to it being in there! Wierd!! :eh:

Just found a 2nd varicose vein, how lovely :-(

I love the idea of being pregnant, but, my god it isn't glamorous or pretty is it? I had a varicose vein on my right leg last time I was pregnant but it went away afterwards. I wasn't surprised to see it come back this time, but I was upset to see one on my other leg today. I may...

    How many years between babies?

Big age gap for me I'm afraid. But this is all down to breastfeeding problems, and pressure to keep doing it. I basically didn't enjoy the first 18 months of my childs life at all. This is why in another post about breast feeding etc, i recommended doing what you bloody well like and not...

    Itchy niples...

I suffered this last time, but seem to be keeping it at bay this time by keeping them moisturised. Even my son has noticed that my nipples are huge! :-)

The best thing to put squirty cream on is a banana! Especially when you put caramel sauce on it as well. Oh dear, i think the DH might be off to Sainsburys now! :-)
