Ralph is taking 180ml (6oz) every 3 hours. He was weighed last week and was 14lb at 6 weeks. His a healthy solid boy and a very hungry baby lol xx

I was told to put basket in cot first aswell then gradually put him in the cot. :)

I have a problem... Ralph likes the bath his relaxed and content and he has a bottle before hand so his not screaming for hunger half way thru, he also has his towels warmed so his not cold when he gets out, He is placed on the bed in our room inwhich the room is warm too...but everytime he is...

I don't think you can get a newborn into a routine..it just way too hard and they are still getting used to their surroundings and it's usually feed on demand at that stage. I didn't get ralph into a rountine until 5 weeks old. At the start he was waking 3 or 4 times a night for a feed or just...

I put Ralph down some days wide awake... Don't need to rock or cuddle him. He will stir alot tho but will be asleep in 10 min or so xx

Ha ha Ralph plays around on the breast like that too! I breast feed with a pillow underneath him when I'm sitting up and he roll on his back also and just lay there and smile and coo then go back to the nipple and go on and off lol x

Ralph has started to notice his surroundings a lot more now. When I feed him bottle or breast he can't stop looking around and smiling and it takes ages to feed him lol Its so so cute but frustrating as I want to be on with things! can anyone relate to this with their LO? Xx:)

He could be coming up to his 6 week growth spurt? I know ralph this week has been fussy with bottle and was not sleeping well at all at night but now has settled back to his normal self xx hope you get a good nights sleep tonight xx
