I use to express a good couple more ozs out of one boob compared to the other. I also found that i expressd from one boob, went to the other and then I would go back to first boob, followed by the other again helped a little.

My HV adviced the same. First milk is for up too 1 year old, then they are ok to have cows milk. Just a marketing thing and to take no notice of it.

If you do go down Medela road, go for the swing, the model down, is way to noisey, that you can't even think let alone hear any thing. Plus the swing acts very simular to how a baby would feed, with a milk let down button. Goggle and you will know what i mean.

I pop chilled milk into a cool bag, with an ice pack and it keeps it cold enough then take a flask of hot water to warm it up when needed. I use the sterile bottle with teat and cap in the fridge, to store milk. Hope that helps
