OK so we haven't really done pancake day properly and figure it's about time for DD to experience it but other than lemon, sugar, syrup I don't really have any ideas. What do you put on your pancakes?
Just had to share the fact that Calum fed at 7pm and then not again till 3:15am! :cheer: :cheer: It was lovely but ouchy too! My boobs were so full they were painful but it was a nice pain when he started to feed lol! Yay Calum, I hope he does it again!
We were having some nappy off time and I put him on his tummy and he just turned over as if it was so easy! :cheer: :cheer: I can't remember how old DD was when she first rolled over but I wasn't expecting it this soon!
Last night I started feeling a sharp pain at one end of my scar when I move about, it's also sore to touch but doesn't look any different. I hadn't had any pain in it for weeks now so it seems strange that it's painful again. Has anyone else had pain come back after a few weeks?
I'm feeling so run down, I'm tired all the time which I know is to be expected but I'm waking every morning with a bad headache which doesn't go all day and I feel cold all the time. I'm drinking well and take a drink to bed which I have when I'm feeding Calum.
I'm just not sure if this is...
I started off with a sore boob yesterday and assumed it was just a blocked duct so did the usual massage during feed etc but last night I started feeling unwell, feverish, achey all over and my boob got more painful. I took some paracetamol which helped a bit and have made sure Calum has fed...
My blood loss had trailed off loads till it was brownish and I only needed a panty liner but it seems to have increased in the past few days and is red again with some darker patches but is quite runny.
I'm just looking for reassurance that this is ok? I haven't been overdoing it really so I...
Calum's stump smells a bit and looks a bit red underneath and I'm paranoid that it's getting infected despite the fact that the midwife checked it on Saturday and I'm cleaning it. My mum is a trained children's nurse and she looked yesterday and said it didn't look infected and the red looked...
Before I was pregnant I took some vitamins and other supplements and I was wondering if it was ok to take them again while I'm breastfeeding? There's nothing on the packet about breastfeeding, just a "do not take if you are pregnant".
Thanks.
Yay!! It's looking good for my VBAC!!
I've been having contractions since 9:30am and they're now between 7/8 mins apart! :cheer:
I'm going for a bath now, DD is at my mum's so it's just a case of relaxing till the contractions start coming every 5 mins then I'm to go down to the hossie...
OK so this morning I get up having thought of nothing but my elective section which I'm booked in for today and off I go to the toilet and what do I find - a big bit of plug when I wipe. At least I can't think of anything else it could be - it was really snotty and in a lump. It wasn't bloody...
Ok so I'm going into hospital for an elective section tomorrow. I've had my hospital bag packed for ages but as I've been hoping for a VBAC it's packed for labour. I'm going to have a look at it again today and was wondering if anyone had any ideas that would be useful for the change of plans...
