Yes, I remember from my 1st pregnancy that I was sick for 2 months then one day I felt fine again - just like that! I can't wait for that day to come this around!!!

Why is milk making me sick?

Same here, I'm finding diary products make me feel very nauseous. I'm hoping I'll be OK by 2nd trimester so that I can start taking in some calcium again.

    say goodbye to stretch marks

In my 1st pregnancy, I used Palmers for a little while but I couldn't stand the smell so I gave up. I'm really lazy with moisturising creams and I ended up not using any at all over my bump, and I don't have a single stretch mark. I read somewhere that it really depends on your type of skin, and...

    Peanut butter

I've given up peanuts and peanut butter for the pregnancy as I've heard that it can lead to a peanut allergy in the child. Not sure how true this is, but I thought I'd follow it anyway.

    What can you eat?

In my 1st pregnancy, I couldn't stomach anything. This time around, I've been eating lots of junk food, have gone off veg and fruit (and I normally love my fruit and veg). And I'm finding that diary foods makes me feel sick.

    Nasty taste in mouth

Luckily the taste seems to have subsided, and my nausea is now only bad in the mornings and late evenings. I'm hoping by the time I hit the 2nd trimester, it'll be gone.

I feel like a failure - is anyone else the same?

Same here too. During my 1st pregnancy, I was sick for 2 months, and couldn't stomach anything. This time around, I'm not as nauseous and can eat more, but only really want to eat junk food. I think our bodies are geared up for this time in the pregnancy, and as long as we eat something...

    Nasty taste in mouth

It's not very metallicy, just very unpleasant, and I'm not a very big fan of mints either :( With my 1st pregnancy, my morning sickness lasted 2 months - as soon as I hit the 2nd trimester. I can't wait til then!

    Nasty taste in mouth

For about a week or so now, I have been constantly having a nasty taste in the mouth. It goes when I eat and drink, but soon after, it's there again and I can't seem to shift it. And the taste isn't helping with the morning sickness either. Any tips ladies?

    Meat?

I've been giving all different types of meat to LO. Before all her molars came through, she found it difficult to chew the meat, so I blended it and mixed it in. Now she's able to chew, I either use minced meat or cut it into very small pieces when cooking.

    Juice Question

I think that some contain artificial sweetners which may explain why the overall calorie count will be lower.

    Bottle to cup help pleeeeeeease!

We've had the same problem, spent a fortune on all sorts of training cups. In the end, it was the cheapest cup that came out best. We bought a pack of Boots Essentials lidded cups (£2 for 4) which have a free-flowing spout and LO has taken to this with no problems. Only moan about these cups are...

    Thermometers

I have a basic digital thermometer which I use for armpit readings and also a Braun ear thermometer, and I find the Braun much easier and quicker to use.

    Keeping buggy blankets from falling?

I have a footmuff but it doesn't come up high enough to cover her chest, so we use blankets to wrap around her chest when the weather is very cold, like now. However, she likes to move her arms a lot, so the blanket doesn't stay up for long. I was tempted to use some pegs to clip the top of the...

    Keeping buggy blankets from falling?

Any ideas on how to stop the blanket falling off from covering LO when she is sitting in her buggy?

    baby hair and knots

I have no experience with any lotions and potions to use to keep hair untangled, but if you're looking for a brush that can brush the tangles out without pain, I recommend the Tangle Teezer hairbrush: http://www.tangleteezer.co.uk/

    Question about Boots advantage points

Yep, you can get collect points on follow-on formula (6mths+) and as far as I remember, you can redeem too. As someone on here has mentioned, look for the asterisk on the price label, if it's there, it's a redeemable item.
