When I was about 5 I got my leg stuck in an escalator  Had new wellies that I had to wear and my leg got dragged down the side! My bro was in a pushchair at the time so my mum couldn't even let go to pull it out. A man ran up the wrong way and yanked me out. Nothing broken etc but even...
The chocolate chilli ones dont taste of chocolate or chilli. they taste more chili than chocolate though (which is good cos choc flavoured crisps is wrong...unless they're those cadburys pringle shaped ones that are mint flavour!)
Oh I'm just having a moan about how Finn is always poorly these days! He began nursery in October and has had...
*2 tummy bugs (sick at nursery so I had to pick him up!)
*chicken pox
*meningococcal septicaemia (I know we cant blame that one on nursery..!)
*colds
and today I had to pick him up...
A few months ago Finn had a big (lifesaving!) injection in his thigh and when we went back to see the Dr at the hospital he said that the lump (which was very hard and quite large really!) was a reaction to the medicine but would go down in time - and it has. I can still feel it but it's...
Well it's been quite a while since I posted in Tri 3 but I thought I'd just let you know that in LIDL they've got full length body pillows for a tenner - and I swore that the next time, I would definately invest in one of those (but the proper ones are really dear!). Just thought you might be...
I'd get the most basic one in hindsight. We got the Silver Cross Sovereign and although it's a nice comfy chair, it's very bulky and has lots of crevices for food to get lodged in. I also wanted one that reclined (cos babies fall asleep in the their food?) - well Finn has never done that...
Finn's room isn't much like a nursery - it's quite little boyish rather than babyish so will do for the next few years (and I can decorate it pink when his little sister comes along  [no,I'm not pg or even TTC yet!])
There's nothing at all in my loft - that's because it's all in the underhouse storage!!! There isn't anything of value though, it's all stuff that Finn has outgrown and has gone away for number 2! (in a few years time!!) I think there are boxes that have yet to be unpacked from when we...
Not so much with Finn's toys but when I started teaching I went to a car boot sale and bought a load of games like Buckaroo for wet play and that used to drive me mad when the children lost bits from those games - I'd only spent 10p and things on them too!
My Mum & Dad bought them back from America for me - theyre literally half price there (although still about £70!) and I love them - no matter how ugly they look, they're just so cosy and comfy!
