midwife told me to get a tiny soft blanket (we got one of those teddy with the attached blanket things) and to wear it in your bra for a couple of days so it smells like you. She said that in the hospital, and when sleeping the baby will be comforted by the smell of you from it. I have done...

HUGSY....... after 42 weeks the plancenta starts to deteriorate and stops working as efficiently as it should, so they strongly advise induction in the 42nd week. It is not compulsory though. I did lots of research on it because i didnt want one! The chances of still birth and problems increase...

i was told it was easier to separate them out by my midwife... she said it made it much easier for partners and midwives to find baby grows etc if you are sleeping and they need to change the baby.... not sure what she would say to husbands little bag though!!! xxx

husband got a bit miffed that the baby had a hospital bag, and i had a hospital bag, and he didn't.... so i have packed him one with snacks, magazines, puzzler, drinks and nintendo ds.... any other suggestions ladies??.... bless him! packed him a pressie from the baby too... one t shirt...

sweep was soooooooo uncomfortable! midwife could feel her head, told me to get bouncing on my ball! so after i have done a few chores, i am going to put on a dvd and bounce away!! I have put my nice lingerie on and my favourite trousers, as sods law means my waters will break wearing them...

I have done one called before you were born... It has funny spirited about cravings and fainting etc. Also put pictures of her first pram, cot, nursery etc. in ad I have no idea what mine looked like do thought she might when she's older. Scan pics are in there and thoughts and feeling s too...
