Anyones baby sleep on its tummy ??

Leo has been sleeping on his tummy since he was a week old. If we laid him on his back he might sleep for 10 / 20 mins at a time, but that was it. I tried him on his front and he slept for hours, in fact, since that night I can count on one hand the times I hav had to get for him in the night...

    Raspberry Leaf Tablets

Yes with the RLT too! There has been a recent study into RLT and pre-eclampsia and there is a possible link. I started taking RLT when I was 37 weeks, I;d not had any problems through my entire pregnancy, within a week my blood pressure had shot up and I ended up having an emergancy C-section...

I'm really looking forward to it, well, not so mch to the acutual labour, but to having the baby to hold. Since LO movements have realy slowed down, I don;t feel as conected to baby anymore, so I get all the hassle of a bump, with very few of the fun kicks and stuff so I am more than ready...

Toddler reins - what do you think?

I used to use reins (the ones from the wrist) with my nephew, they were a godsend. When he got older and learnt how to take them off, when we used to go into town shopping we'd go to pizza hut or somewhere first and I;d attach a helium balloon to him. He though the balloon was great and...

    What happens to spiders...

I have a serious phobia of spiders, I can't get close enough to one to suck it up the hoover. Luckily my hubby has learnt to recognise my screams of panic, he doesn;t even need to ask why I am screaming now. We had a BQ round my step-daughters the other week, she thought it would be really...

How long did your birth certificate take to be issued?

I think if you register at the hospital or the registry office where LO is born they issue i straight away, if you register it at a different registry office then they post it to you. I;m in the same position as you, luckily the office is on the way home from hospital, so that will be my...

passport question - for those who got their babies one

http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/index.asp There is a guide on here about photos, the rules for babies are slightly different as their eyes do not have to be open, although it is preferable if they are. I've got t get the passport application off within days of LO;s arrival, its going to be...

    taking LO abroad??

Definately go for it. You need to make sure you take enough nappies unless you want to pay a fortune out there, and milk if you formular feed, you can get all sorts of travel accsessories to make things easier. I'm off to Florida in 67 days, my LO isn't even born yet!!!!!! All you have...

    i just had to..

I've been lucky and not had thrush at all this pregnancy, and I've only had it a couple of times before anyway, always after I have taken a strong course of antibiotics. I always used the one dose oral pill and it cleared up immediatly. Are you not allowed to take the oral pill remedy when...

Who has a surprise bump in here?

We are team green as well. Origionally we wanted to find out what sex LO was, but was laying awkwardly when we went for the scan, so they couldn;t tell. I was disapointed at first, but got used o the idea of not knowing. I had to go for another scan at 32 weeks and decided to NOT find out...
