    Reflux misery!

Hi all, Ella has been admitted into hospital twice with reflux Issues! She has now been given lansoprazole and domperidome to help, yet she is still vomiting three days later! Problem is - her reflux episode last Saturday scared the life out of me. Her eyes popped out, her mouth foamed and she...

    Back in hospital ... Again!!!

Arghhhhhhh!!! Bloody reflux! Ella has been readmitted. She had a really scary episode in Saturday. Ella choked on her vomit (we think) and had foam coming from her mouth, eyes popping out and zoning out, not being able to breath properly. I called an ambulance and we were brought to hospital...

    Health visitors

Be warned - I did what the doc said and left it. Ella then got so bad, and lost so much weight, that she has now been admitted into hospital! If you don't feel like something is right, take it into your own hands and go back to see the docs before the week ... It's not fair on the little ones...

    Admitted to hospital!!!!

Arghhhhhhh!!!!!! Poor Ella has been vomiting so badly that last night, I decided enough ea enough and I would take her to the A and E. I thought I'd be laughed at and called neurotic, but decided I needed to do it anyway! Got there and was seen by triage who took me immediately up to the...

Any1 else find huggies newborn nappies a bit of a let down?

I found exactly the same! Huggies were gapey around her legs, which meant that she had pooplosions all over the place and wet as well! Pampers fit brilliantly - but they smelt really chemically! I started to use boots size 1 and Tesco size 1. They are much better - and cheaper too! Lol!

Breast feeding still tires me out!!!

Unfortunately I do have to do all of that!!!! Since Ella was born, she struggles to take a full feed, so she has to have a top up. This means I express and breastfeed so I have the worst of all worlds! Lol!

    Dummy

My daughter used her dummies for years... We eventually got them away from her at 3 (although she was ONLY allows them at bed time from 1!) Anyway - she NEVER chewed through hers, not managed to do any damage to them. She was pretty rough with them too... So I would definitely complain! That...

Does anyone else feel like it never ends?

I'm ashamed to say - I've hired a cleaner since having Ella! I can keep up with picking up and putting away, washing, expressing, feeding, washing bottles and pump, keeping Imogen entertained, keeping Ella clean and calm, making dinner etc etc but cleaning the bathrooms, doors, floors and even...

All is well with extra chromosomes!

To make you feel better - my fiancé initially (who in my opinion is on the autistic spectrum and ha a serious case of perfection OCD) was exactly the same and said he didn't want a baby like that!!! Out of the two of us now, he is the stronger and he absolutely can not see that any other baby...

How are other LOs after jabs?

Ella seemed ok, but at her 3:30am feed, I noticed she was boiling! I couldn't work out whether she was hot because it was hot, or because she wasn't feeling well. I tried to give her calpol and she threw up! It was horrible! Today she seems a bit better again!!! It was horrid! :-(

Jabs... To calpol or not to calpol? That is the question!

Well guys... We have come to the unfortunate '8 week jabs' day! I hate these injections for my little people!!! My question is, should I give 2.5 mls of calpol 1/2 an hour before or not? I always have with Imogen, and now I have found advice not to online! I'm confused! What are your...

    Finally...

I feel the same about girls I have no idea! Congrats on not being 48 weeks pregnant any more, must be a relief in this weather. Isn't it funny how you become used to doing something (ie nappy change!) and having to do something different would be too traumatic! I watched one of my NCT friends...
