I agree with the other ladies. You have to do whats right for your little family. Let them come visit but stay in a hotel near by and they can pop in and visit. Those newborn days are hard but something to treasure, you should be mummy not playing host. xx

It's definitely personal choice. We only moved AJ into his room about 9months (maybe older) as we were disturbing him when we were going to bed or going to the loo. I didnt feel ready though, but it was the best choice for him. We'll be keeping baby in with us as long as possible as baby...

AJ always went to bed around the same time as us at that age. Anytime between 11/12 after his last bottle, we'd head to bed. As he got older he started settling earlier and eventually settled at a 7pm bedtime by himself. But that was months down the line.
