How often is your baby mixing with other adults or babies etc? Like swimming/playgroups, trips to the park or whatever..

.. I feel i NEED to do more for Lovella regarding her "social network" (lol) and was curious how much others interact and take part in fun activities :)

playgroup - monday afternoons
sing and sign - wednesday mornings
arts centre monday after school and saturdays
beavers - wednesday evening (i'm a beaver leader)

We socialise almost every day :) I was one of the last out of our group of friends to have a baby so Jacob has lots of little friends!

We go to our friends houses a couple of times a week and the kids have all the toys out and play together, we do trips to the farm, tiny treasures (like a stay and play for babies), outings to the park etc. We see family almost every day, even if it's just for an hour! Ellie (Jacob's cousin who is 18 months older) LOVES him so they see each other a lot :)

I'm back at work a week on Monday  only mornings though but I hope we still have the time to do all the things we normally do.

Hmm.. well im deffinately not doing enough  Iv been taking Lovella to play with my best friends daughter Ruby (14 months ) but my friend just started work so thats had to stop and the only other socialising she gets is when i visit my mother, nan, sister and brother every day or go out on the bus shopping. I know there is a playgroup just down the road so i'll start taking her there and swimming classes once or twice a week :D

Hardly anything tbh

I see daftscotslass and her LO Becky sometimes but not often enough. I don't really know anyone else with babies.

My "friend" who had her LO the day after Finlay was born has turned out to be a backstabber so I don't bother with her anymore.

I have been through in Glasgow with OH for a while now but I don't know whats on in that area. Finlay and my clinic is still where my house is so I don't really go to the mother and baby groups.

My kids go to indoor soft-play about once a fortnight
and to the park about twice a week (weather dependent)
and they see their cousins about once a fortnight (sometimes once a week)

Jo jingles on Monday, park a few times a week, swimming lessons and the free library groups, which most library's do. They are very good fun but most importantly they are free!
And at the weekends we normally do something. Today we are off to zoomania :D

We shall go baby signing if you are free this week then! Help me cope with all the yummy mummies

I'm pretty much the same, I only really socialise with people I know already who have babies. Been to a few baby groups locally but didn't really hit it off with anyone, even though I went a few times.

Kai goes to pre-school Tuesday and Thursday mornings (may increase it to 3 morning next year) and the park every day and at the weekends we try and do something. Yesterday we went to Fantasy Fair www.fantasyfair.ca and had a really good time. Looking for more things to do indoors though as the weather gets worse. Normally if we are out and about in a mall there is always some play area for about 30 minutes.

sounds like an idea! When is it on?

Jam has 3days at nursery, has little cousins on his dads side but hes normally around my family and my mates

Aaron is at pre school 2 mornings a week and we went to a tot group before that. We're starting up swimming again soon as well. I'll take Tamzin back to the tot group when she's a bit more active.

we have boob group on a monday, Seren likes to go next door into the creche with her friend as they get to go outside. Then I tend to meet up with friends during the week. Seren also has two mornings in nursery so gets to play with her friends there.

I don't go to many groups tbh as I am not a fan of organised play but as long as your baby is meeting new people it doesn't matter. It doesn't have to be other babies as they love interaction with anyone.

monday stay and play group, tuesday little ones group, wendsday messy play and the rest of the week nothing really jayde does have a cousin 2 months younger but never gets to see her hardly and they only live down the road but they never come and see us ow well thats family for you all the groups i go to are at surestart if i didnt go to them i wouldnt do anything as i dont know anyone with kids

Not a lot!.. Don't do any groups and will go visit family once a wk.. really need to get out more.
