We have one. I really like it. Obviously it takes longer than fried chips (about 40-45 mins), but they are just as easy to make. Just cut them up and throw them in with a spoonful of oil per kg of potatoes (3-4 large baking potatoes or about 4-6 avarage sized ones).
Very tasty
One slight minus - if you like rustic style chips or just feeling lazy and cook with skins on, you get loads of bits in the mix (and sometimes they don't come out too great)
I love my Actifry. I don't use it very often because we're not huge chip eaters, but I am never disappointed. I like to add a bit of spice to the oil (cajun seasoning, curry powder, mexican spices, etc) to jazz up our chips.
