You could try a washable nappy (like Little Lambs) which has a wrap over it to provide an extra barrier? Or if you don;t like the idea of washable nappies you could just put a wrap over the top of the disposable nappy?

We waited...and if it hadn't been for the BLW advice I got on this forum, we'd probably STILL be waiting! My LO didn't like anything from a spoon until she was getting on for 8 months old- she was very happy to have a go at eating broccoli florets and bread sticks though!

I was induced at T+2 but by my calculations I was at least a week late by that point. If my LMP was anything to go by I was already 14 days over as I was induced.

As the Baby Whisperer says- if you cave in and give the dummy again you have made your poor baby cry for x amount of time for no reason whatsoever. Well done you for sticking to your plan and seeing it through- I'm certainly watching with interest as I want to ditch the dummy at 1 year(ish)...

You may have passed this stage already but early on dizziness can be caused by a drop in blood pressure as your veins relax to allow for the extra blood volume your body will be building up over the first few weeks of pregnancy. One of my earliest pregnancy symptoms was dizziness to the point...

Very belated congratulations! I've not been keeping up with the new arrivals- I hope you and your beautiful little girl are doing ok- you sound like you had a really traumatic birth experience I wouldn't be surprised if you were in shock for days and weeks afterwards. Sending lot sof hugs :hug:

Thanks for your replies xxx I have been bathing her eyes with boiled water but not as often as every 2 hours. I've decided to take her back to the docs in the morning- especially if it will clear up in 24 hours or so if she gets drops prescribed. Her eyes are stinging her, poor love.

At her 8 month check my LO was 67cm (9th centile). She's grown a bit since then but hasn't outgrown any of the clothes she was in back then. I think she's getting tall until I line her up next to other babies her age and she's half a head shorter! She'll have a spurt later on I reckon as I'm...

Anyone have any idea how long conjunctivitis lasts? My poor little girl has conjunctivitis- she started with it on sunday so I took her to the docs on Monday (sorry for sounding like a Craig David song!) The doc didn't think drops were necessary as I'd said that she seemed to be improviing...
