    Yes, I've failed!

Oh honey, what a horrible HV, mine would probably be the same (except I avoid her!) I don't really have anythng to add to what the others have said, except to say that you should stick to your guns, you know you baby best and as Charlie said babies aren't text book, and some have bigger...

    tanning

I highly recommend spray tans in a salon too, I had a St Tropez one last summer, where a person sprays you rather than an automatic one. It was really natural looking, but only lasted a week or so before going patchy. I would have one again for a special occasion and I bought the St Tropez...

Tesco Clubcard Vouchers - How do you use yours?

We also buy everything on our Tesco credit card and the pay it off every month, we saved up nearly £200 in normal vouchers before Christmas, but then couldn't find anything on the deals to spend them on so we bought a TV for the kitchen that cost us £9! I feel the need to use them on deals as...

Switching from Formula to Cows milk

We have just switched to cows milk and she loves it! We just switched (but with an emergency carton of formula just in case!)

    Long Sleeved or Short Sleeved?

We have only ever used long sleeve vests under dresses if t shirts never under sleepsuits. We didn't even have any long sleeve ones until she started wearing dresses.

Would you take young children to Egypt?

I would, as dodgy tummies can happen anywhere. The only thing that would worry me is what the medical provision is like, I would want to know that if LO got poorly the hospitals were of a good standard, as I know of people who have needed hospitals in Turkey and Greece and had a really...

    primark

I buy lots in there these days and I think it is great, the quality is definitely no worse than New Look or Topshop for most things, but it is soooo much cheaper in there. I have bought black jeans in there for work and I have worn and washed them every week since Christmas and they are still...

    Smear at 6 week check?

I haven't had one yet - but I am not due one generally. I couldn't even have considered it at 6 weeks, so just let them know that you aren't ready.

    Disolvable Stitches FAQ.

I think most of mine dissloved, but I also found a couple of bits on the toilet roll! :puke: Most of mine went in a couple of weeks, but the knot at the end took longer - it was really big though.

Moving From Newborn formula milk to stage 3/follow on milk

We never bothered with Follow on milk, as I think it is a con (but that's another story!), we did try the Hipp goodnight milk and LO slept through for 2 nights, she had been waking for a feed every night having slept through for months, then she started waking every hour, I think with tummy...

    Snuck

My mum uses that expression too, when Ella knocks things over, she says "you bocked it", am I right in thinking you are from Plymoouth? If so, my Mum is too, so maybe it is a Plymouthian thing!

    Formula storage

The current guidance says that all bottles should be maade from scratch - which is completely unrealistic imo, most people on here tend to put water in bottles, leave to cool and then add the powder when needed, which is actually quicker than warming up bottles that have been in the fridge. To...

    General questions

I would get checked for Mastitis too, I only breastfed for 3 days so got engorged when my milk came in, but I didn't have any of those symptoms, just very heavy and hot boobs.
