Baby Gates and Safety

My SIL has just been told the HV will be giving them fire guard/safety gates but just wondering is everyone entitled? I thought it was if you are in a surestart area and not everyone qualifies? If this is not the case then let me know ty x

You can borrow them of sure start centre i thinks its until your child is three, i've bought mine though xx

We were given ours by the surestart scheme in February.

We got a big fireguard, 2 baby gates, cupboard locks, smoke detecters and window locks

We were entitled as we recieve tax credits but i think now you have to be on income support to get it for free
I didnt know anything about living in certain areas to get the help though
