Black poo?!

Hi Ladies,

Was wondering if any of you knew anything about this..

My almost 4 month old has done 2 poos today, the first one was very dark in colour but not alot of it. Then as I was feeding him his last bottle, he did a massive, completely black poo apart from a few little white specks in it.

He's been REALLY grumpy the last few days too.

Just wondered if you had any ideas as to why/whats up?

I had started to wean him, he's been on baby rice for the last 4 weeks, and the last week i had been giving him a couple of spoons of jars.

I think my poor little monkey has a stomach bug. My mum reminded me that my nephew thomas has just had a stomach bug and was round here the day before thomas got ill. Charlies temp shot up to 37.9, he was awake most of the night which is unlike him. He's been really crying lots and making his windy/poo grunty noise. And we just had black watery diarrhoea xxx
