Calpol - Plug in Decongestant?

Has anyone used it?

My GP recommended it for Cescas cold. I switch it on when she goes down and night and turn it off in the morning. It seems to be working wonders on her but it's making my mouth and throat incredibly dry. I wake up in the morning with no voice and down about 3 pints of water before I can do anything!

I don't know whether to carry on using it for Cescas sake and just deal with the dryness or to pack in and see how she gets on, maybe try something else.

Does anyone else have any similar experiences or any advice on what to do?

I use a karvol one for the boys and it really helps them - I only had it on a few times when they were still in our room but I don't remember it making me feel any different x
