My very happy and healthy 4yr old niece, who was born at 23wks weighing 1lb 12oz, is my proof that they should be given every chance possible! She is perfect!

i agree! so long as they dnt have brain damage or somthing seriously wrong i belive they she hav a chance!!

Yeah, it was discussed on This Morning and it was put forward that it shouldn't be the parent's decision whether they are given a chance or not, it should be the decision of the medical professionals to decide whether it was both viable and too much of a financial risk. I can't imagine what it would be like if it was my baby and I was told they weren't going to try everything they could to save her! After everything we went through with my niece I was quite upset by the programme, even though it did show both sides of the debate x
