Charlotte has been a really good sleeper for a wile now but over the weekend we seem to have a new problem. She has banged herself on cot in middle of night and woken up screaming, we have settled her but them she keeps waking up, going to sleep, waking up for ages like it has really unsettled her. Is there any way we can try and avoid this? I am a bad sleeper so if i wake i often cannot go back to sleep so am exhausted.

Oh and the cot bumper we have is useless

thanks for any ideas :)

Hi :)
Exactly the same thing here. She is always banging herself, rolling, sitting, hitting her arms, legs and head against the cot as she wiggles around. No idea. SOmetimes she goes back to sleep and other times she wakes up. Sorry can't help but just to let you know it's happening here too :)

Maybe you could try rolling up one of her thinner blankets/fleece and wedge it down the side between the matress of the cotbed and the slats?

Have no idea if it works or not but maybe worth a try if all else fails :D

T xx
