My lower pelvic pain is now a suspected prolapse. Cant get to doctor today but nhs direct nurse says I have got to be seenx by gp tomorrow. Just what I need, although after months of pain without resolution I will just be glad if it can be sorted. Anyone else had any experience of this?

I was wondering if I had a prolapse. I have a smear soon so will see what they say. How did the drs go?

The nurse didn't notice mine at my smear much to thd consultant's surprise. Most common prolapse is uterus. Mine prolapsed a bit but nothing to worry about. However bladder also prolapsed and bowel prolapsed even worse. Need specialist physio to try and stop them getting worse and them surgery. Been to gp a few times with classic symptoms but no doctor worked it out and no internal until this week. Luckily hit bupa as saw consultant the next day and after 5 months things are at least being dealt with. Hope things are more positive for you. Worth getting doctor to check
