Rashes and scratching

A is now 17 mths and in the last few weeks he has started to scratch where the top of his nappy is, by his underark, stomach and back. It comes upred as he scratches, and fades to small red dots which eventually fade.

I dont know whats causing it whether its a heat rash as it flares up in the bath or an allergy of some sort. Last nifht he was asleep in his cot on all foiurs and had the rash on his knees so wonder if it is just heat related?

Any ideas? Advice?

Does sound like a heat rash or similar.

Just in case - have you changed detergent recently? Try to stop using any bathing products and see if it gets better. I use oilatum liquid paraffin

Possibly eczema my kids do the same got diagnosed with it and given cream and bath ointment x
