No periods and clueless! Pls help

Hey Lulu, I think I'd probably go see the doc if I were you. I also came off Yasmin back in December, and although my cycles have been irregular (between 28 and 38 days) I've still had a period every month. It's probably nothing to worry about, as the pill can affect cycles for up to a year but...

Ttc, not falling Nd the impact on one's mental health

Hey, I just wanted to echo what everyone else has said. Relatively speaking, it's early days (this will be our fourth cycle) but I really did think I'd come off the pill and immediately get pregnant. I'm trying to keep it all in proportion, but this month I really thought I was, so when AF...

Take a test on holidays or not?

*counting, not 'CPU ting' obviously. What a weird auto correct

Take a test on holidays or not?

I'm going to contradict everyone else and say no test! Relax, enjoy your honeymoon for what it is and test when you get home. You won't be subconsciously CPU ting down to when you can POAS and, if it's negative, you avoid clouding what should be an exciting, romantic, relaxing time.

    Wahoooo I am here!

Hello and good luck! Sorry you're being made redundant. It happened to my husband last year, but he's ended up with a job he loves even more x

    I give up!!

I'm considering giving preseed a try, although I do usually have plenty of ewcm, so not sure it'll make much difference. I foolishly decided to google whether orgasm has any impact. Now I'm worried because it always happens for me before him and in terms of TTC, it seems it should be the other...

    Can't work it out

Oh no! So sorry. Do you feel it was a chemical pregnancy or a fluke with the tests? Huge hug x

    I give up!!

I'm never sure if that 20/25 per cent statistic makes me feel better or worse... Totally identify with the OP though. We're into cycle four now and I was really upset when it didn't happen this time. It's hard staying rational, not over-thinking it and keeping the sex about the sex (rather than...

    Ugh, stupid AF!

Thanks girls :) this is the first month (third cycle) where its upset me. Rationally I know it's early days but I'm still gutted. Jeez, to think when we decided to try I was all: omg, this will be *so* fun! Pah, little did I know!

    Ugh, stupid AF!

As per title. Stupid af has turned up literally out of nowhere. No cramps, no warning at all. So disappointing as had really convinced myself I was preggo this month. I suppose the silver lining is that my cycle might be going back to normal. 29 days rather than 37/38.

    TWW anyone waiting? xxx

Congratulations Dulci! I'm not sure how many dpo I am! I either ovulated on CD15/16, when I had ewcm and what I think was a little ov bleed, or (just going by my last two cycles, had no signs around that time) on around CD 24. Pretty certain it was the earlier date. Driving myself CRAZY symptom...

Can you see it ? Updated with new test on pg 2 OMG update on pg 4

Wow, no room for doubt there, congratulations! Very poor treatment by your doctors though - any woman who's been told by a health professional that she's categorically not pregnant is consequently not necessarily going to take the extra care/precautions with her body that a pregnant woman would!

    Day 99.........

Oh no, that must be so frustrating :( have you spoken to your doctor about it? I so wished were given a clearer idea of the impact of the pill before we started taking it! x

*line spotters needed* another evap? Help!

Eek, looks like a BFP to me! Fingers crossed for you x x

when should i come off the pill?

Yep, I'd advise stopping now too. I stopped in December and my cycles are still affected - they've gone from a reliable 28 days (during previous breaks) to around 37. If I'd known in advance, I'd have happily used condoms for a year while my body took its time to regulate itself again x

    depression and mother in law

Wow, I didn't think there was anyone left who didn't 'believe' in depression, given it's 2012. I'm sorry you're going through this with so little support. On a practical level, is it possible for you to research whether there are any interpreter services near you so that you can communicate...

    Acne cream

Hey, Sudocreme is absolutely amazing for spots and super cheap. Lush also do some lovely natural products which are really effective and very mild. Really can't recommend Sudocreme enough though. I've tried all kinds of expensive stuff like Dermalogica but nothing else worked for me.

    Devastated

So sorry, that must be really scary. I just want to echo the positive things other ladies on here have said - a diagnosis means treatment, which means you're a step closer to getting pregnant. Most women with pcos are still able to have a baby, so please try not to feel too despondent x x
