When can i drive?

How long after c section can you start driving? It will be 2 weeks for me on Monday. Is it too early? Do I have to see the doctor before I start driving? Xx

Im sure that for insurance purposes it's 6 weeks x

Most insurance companies say that you are covered to drive as soon as you have the ok from a Dr or other health care practitioner. I drove after 2 weeks after being told I was fine to do so by my GP and midwife x

Check with your insurance company. My last section I called them up and they had no time bracket just needed my gp to declare me fit to drive, so made appt and doc put it in my notes that day** and I was driving again. I have new insurance company now so will be giving them a call in a couple of weeks to check their policy xxx
