2 sacs..1 empty..could i be having twins?

I went for my ultrasound this week and they found 2 sacs..1 was empty and appeared to be about 6 weeks and the other 1 had my little buba in it n was measuring 12 weeks 3 days

I am showing very much for only being 12 weeks and was joking that i could be having twins before my scan..is there any chance that the other sac might not be empty and the baby might just be hiding?
Has any1 else been through the same?

Im just a bit confused there is twins in my partners family and the woman doing my ultrasound did say that it had began a twin pregnancy?

Wow big congrats on the milestone of scan day!!

Unsure on the two bubbas? Did the lady doing the us not say anything? I'd of thought the would look into it a bit more?

I am not sure babe but I reckon that it began as a twin pregnancy and one of the bubs did not develop. You probably had wow loads of hormones which could be why you are showing. I think that you have one lovely baby in there now. My SIL had this, started twins, unfortunately lost one at arround 8 weeks but has one neautiful boy who is now 5! xxxxx
